On September 9, 2023 – The Green Show, a groundbreaking annual event dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion, made its dazzling debut during New York Fashion Week, marking a significant milestone in the fashion industry. This inaugural event, held at BondSt Hudson Yards, exemplified the transformative power of fashion as a force for positive change.
The Green Show is not just an event; it's a vision for a more sustainable future. With the fashion industry's impact on our environment in mind, The Green Show partnered with eco-conscious brands to showcase innovative solutions. The runway show, featuring the Spring/Summer 2024 collection by Dur Doux, stole the spotlight, proving that sustainability and style are a powerful combination.
Beyond the runway, The Green Show's panel discussion, led by Roman Bolli of South Pole, convened a diverse group of sustainability experts. TV personality and interior designer Erin Dana Lichy, Morgan Kelly the Executive Director of GLAM4GOOD, Selena Hill an award-winning journalist and editor for Black Enterprise, and Khary Simon VP Creative Director at Hearst, all added industry insights on how eco-friendly manufacturing, ethical sourcing, and circular fashion initiatives can drive sustainability. Topics ranged from sustainable lifestyle changes and corporate solutions to ethical production practices and the role of fashion in climate change mitigation.
Our attendees come from diverse backgrounds and industries, making The Green Show At Fashion Week a melting pot of ideas and perspectives. We believe that our attendees are the heart and soul of the event and we strive to make their experience unforgettable.
